What we look for

The team of IN CASE OF is looking for a Senior React Developer (m/f/x) who will work on implementing our React web application as well as our Firebase backend.

Your profile

• 4+ years experience of having worked in a related field
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education
• Excellent Soware Development skills, in particularin developing React web applications together with a Firebase/Firestore backendin the Google cloud
• Passion for craing high quality and elegant code
• String experience in data modelling, e.g. in Firebaseand serverless functions, e.g. in Firestore
• Basic knowledge of soware versioning (git) and projectmanagement (Trello)
• Strong interest in new technologies and willingness to learn new things
• Speaking German and English at a proficient level
• Based in or willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria

Ideally, the following technologies and keywords are well-known concepts to you: ReactJS, Typescript, Firebase, data modelling, Yarn workspaces, REST APIs, Google Cloud, serverless cloud functions (e.g. in Firestore),CDCI (e.g. CircleCI), unit tests, visualtests (e.g. with Storybook), Bitbucket, Trello, Scrum, Kanban

What you can expect

As a Soware Engineer at IN CASE OF you are involved in the product development right from the start and you are responsible forthe development of our IN CASE OF backend components in a microservice architecture using Python. You can also expect:

• For this position, according to the relevant collective bargaining agreement, aminimum gross salary of monthly EUR 3.094 (14 salaries p.a.) applies. Depending on the level of experience, we are willing and happy to overpay.
