Briefly explained

What does the partnership of ibana and incaseof.law mean?

ibana and incaseof.law connect May 2026 their platforms: ibana customers activate the receivables management of incaseof.law directly from the usual interface, without changing the system. REST API and covers all stages, from the out-of-court payment reminder to the judicial enforcement. 100 percent the creditor.

What is changing for ibana customers?

ibana customers gain a complete cash cycle in one interface. Once a claim reaches the reminder stage, it can be handed over to incaseof.law in a few clicks. incaseof.law then manages escalation from out-of-court reminders to the payment-order claim and enforcement.

Financial automation and receivables management previously relied on separate systems. Businesses using a modern platform for incoming invoices, payment runs and outstanding items still needed another system for collection. ibana automates day-to-day finance; incaseof.law takes over when an outstanding item needs to become an enforceable claim.

The companies connect two complementary FinTech services: incoming invoices, payment runs and expense management through to claims backed by an enforceable title. Activation takes place directly in ibana, without switching systems, duplicate data entry or additional software. For a comparison of receivables management in Austria and Germany, see Comparison of receivables management .

What does the partnership do in concrete terms?

The partnership offers three practical benefits: no duplicate data entry, activation directly in the existing interface and no fixed-cost risk. A REST API connects the platforms.

The cost point is the decisive factor for many: incaseof.law works based on success, there are no setup fees, no licensing costs and no monthly minimum turnover. According to Austrian and German law, the cost risk of the procedure is borne by defaulting debtors. Debt collection costs.

How does AI work throughout the process chain?

In this partnership, AI works consistently, not punctually. ibana automates the recording of incoming invoices, payment flow management and expense management with AI and agents; incaseof.law uses machine learning and deterministic rules to make reminder decisions, cost calculations and late-payment interest automatically across the entire chain.

Both platforms use artificial intelligence in their operations. Together they create a process in which AI supports document receipt, payment and enforcement, without losing data or re-entering it at handover points. The article explains how AI works in receivables management: AI as an engine for your liquidity.

What do the business leaders say?

Both management teams see the partnership as a complete financial workflow. ibana covers the final step in the receivables cycle, while incaseof.law gains direct access to Austrian and German SMEs.

Markus Leimer, Managing Director of ibana Software GmbH: “Our mission is to radically simplify financial processes through AI and agents. With incaseof.law, we bring the final and so far most demanding regulatory step of the receivables cycle into our platform, without requiring customers to change tools. That is financial automation followed through to the end.”

Dr. Maximilian Kindler, CEO of incaseof.law GmbH: “ibana is the ideal technology partner for us: a modern, AI-driven financial platform with a strong product focus and direct access to Austrian and German SMEs. Together, we create a fully digital cash cycle, from invoice to court enforcement, on a foundation supported by Austrian Supreme Court case law.”

What can ibana customers rely on?

ibana customers rely on a regulated and highly judicially secured foundation. incaseof.law has the Austrian collection license according to trade regulations, a GISA registration and an accreditation for electronic court filing (ERV); for Germany there is an RDG license (Az. 2024 0000 8388).

Debt collection is regulated in Austria and Germany. Through electronic legal communications (ERV), incaseof.law can reach Austrian courts directly. Its business model was also expressly confirmed by the Supreme Court in decision 4 Ob 77/23m.

Automated, AI-supported receivables management in Austria therefore has support from the highest court. The implications of this decision are explained in Legal certainty in collection . For ibana customers operating in both countries, the differences between the two legal systems are taken into account automatically in the background.

When is integration available?

The integration will go into production in May 2026. ibana and incaseof.law will accompany the launch with a joint landing page, a coordinated newsletter and webinars for existing and interested customers of both platforms.

The activation takes place opt-in: If you want to use the function, you give your explicit consent via a Consent window before data is exchanged between the platforms. Both companies host in the EU and have concluded a contract processing agreement under the General Data Protection Regulation. The partnership is non-exclusive and based on mutual recommendation.
